Legoland Florida has celebrated its fifth birthday on March 15, 2016.  Together with this festive celebration of delivering fun, laughter, and special moments for five wonderful years is the announcement of the five superb birthday presents that Legoland would be offering its adventurous patrons in the future.

There will surely be a longer list of the top things to do in Orlando today once these new projects have reached their completion.  Below are the five presents to expect in Legoland both in the near and not-so far future.

Legoland: Beach Haven
Located close to the theme park, this lakefront vacation resort will be catering to bigger groups and families who wish to enjoy and discover Legoland.  Designed in a fanciful village-style theme, this vacationland will present 83 one-story duplex units that will provide 166 separate rooms.   Each room can accommodate up to five people.

In line with the newly opened Legoland Hotel that is less than a year old, this resort aims to have the same playful, kid-centric theme.  To add zest to the look of this new resort, its theme will be mixed with ocean fun – sun, sand, and surf.  What makes the experience more real is the picture-perfect view of Lake Dexter, which is located next to the resort.  Resort guests are also entitled to enjoy several amenities.  Visitors of all ages would be delighted to take a dip in the resort’s themed pool.  The youngsters will have a blast at the sandy play area.  After doing all these engaging activities, hungry guests can indulge on a tasty treat at the buffet-style restaurant.  What’s even better is that complimentary transportation is provided going to and from the cool amusement park.  This project is expected to serve Legoland guests sometime in the middle of 2017.

Legoland: Ninjago World
This one-of-a-kind entertainment presents the wonders of unprecedented technology by Triotech.  The inspirations of this new land are from the series Lego building sets and the TV show Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu.  As guests step into this kingdom, they will enter a land of martial arts and magic.  This environment will be achieved through amazing 3D computer animations combined with 4D special effects.

Another action-packed adventure that will have the children running is The Ride by Lego Ninjago.  Each vehicle can accommodate a maximum of four visitors who are brave enough to take part in this gripping adventure.  The riders try to defeat a powerful villain as they use their hands in firing animated shockwaves, ice, lightning, and fireballs.  There are rider points and scores that will be reflected after accomplishing each quest.  This new ride that uses an interactive approach will encourage the children to improve their physical skills just like their Ninjago heroes Nya, Cole, and Zane to name a few.  The martial arts action will begin in early 2017.

New Party: Night Lights
Legoland will be launching a new event in June to celebrate summer.  The park will be featuring several perks to prolong the fun for the season.  Guests can make the most out of their visit since the park will be open for longer hours.  Lego character favorites will also meet and greet ecstatic guests.  Visitors can also take advantage of the special opportunity to build and create together with Lego Master Model Builders.  What better way to end a fun-filled day but in awe and wonder as spectators watch the phenomenal night lights – a fireworks display of dazzling colors above Lake Eloise that goes with joyous music.  This celebration of lights and music will be held every Saturday and Sunday from June 18 until July 31.

New Show: Nexo Knights and the Book of Creativity
The new and exciting theatrical plot that awaits Legoland show spectators is about five young and brave knights who belong to the futuristic Kingdom of Knighton and are up to the challenge of acquiring the unique Book of Magic that gives great power to whoever owns it.  Also in pursuit of the said magical book are evil antagonists Jestro and his sidekick, the Book of Monsters.  This 12 ½-minute computer-animated 3D experience is mixed with real life 4D effects that makes this theater experience even more thrilling and captivating as this high-tech show comes alive from the screen to the audience.

The fun does not stop when the stage lights go off.  The adventure goes on as children hunt for and discover six exclusive shields scattered around the park.  These shields are keys to unlocking Nexo Powers within the iOS and Android mobile application Lego Nexo Knights: Merlock 2.0.  The quest begins on May 26, 2016.

New Water Fun: Build-A-Boat
A great addition to the fun and excitement offered by Legoland Water Park is the Build-A-Boat experience for kids.  This allows children to explore their creativity and imagination as they build a boat that would race with other Lego boats.  The race lets the excited crowd cheer for their favorite boat in a site that has been inspired by the sets of Lego City Coast Guard.  This new attraction is already open to the public.

For the little ones, there is an Imagination Station not far away from the Build-A-Boat site that encourages little hands be creative with Duplo bricks in a water-filled amusement center.  The Water Park has provided more dine-in seating and free Wi-Fi.  For those who think they could not join the water fun because they forgot to bring their swimsuits, worry no more because the Surf Shop is a one-stop shop for water fun needs.  It offers stylish swimwear and footwear, sunscreen, towels, and other poolside must-haves.

Excited guests can anticipate only the best as they learn about what’s happening in Orlando FL.  The children would be delighted when they learn about all the fun that they can get in this amazing land of building blocks.  What’s even better is that there are also fun things awaiting those who seek fun, laughter, and the joys of life.

Fitness Training: Great Thing to Do in West Orange FL

Fitness Training: Great Thing to Do in West Orange FL

One of the exciting things to do in West Orange today is to stay fit by signing up to fitness training.  In spite of the online fitness programs that are readily available in a few keyboard strokes, there is much to benefit from having a personal trainer that can greatly contribute to the success of one’s program.  To know where and how to begin is foundational. This can be determined through the evaluation of a certified trainer and coach.  This is just the beginning of the benefits that having a personal trainer provides.
Be healthy and fit by doing these best things to do in West Orange FL.
A couple that pursues their passion for fitness and health together, stays together.  It seems like this is one of couple Kim and Marissa Herring’s life mottos.  They are the founders of Trinity Sports Performance and Garage Mama Fitness.  These are two new businesses that offer a wide range of services to people of various age groups with different and varied needs.

From Soccer to Football
Kim is a devoted fan of Tottenham Hotspurs, a famous English football club in Tottenham, London.  He started his journey in athletics as he played soccer.  At age 13, he had the chance to play with the Adidas Select Team.  Kim never played football until high school when he and his family relocated to Cleveland.  His college days at Penn State allowed him to lead a career in the National Football League for nine years.  He became involved with Baltimore Ravens, St. Louis Rams, and the Cincinnati Bengals.

From Gymnastics to Cheerleading
Marissa is competitive in nature.  She was into gymnastics until age 14.  She eventually cheered for Florida State University and Florida International University.  Kim and Marissa met in 1999 at a Super Bowl party in Fort Lauderbale.   Kim was only in Florida for a month and had to leave for training after the off season.  They didn’t meet again until a year later.

Marissa’s competitive nature is also evident as she won four times in the Tri Fitness Challenge under her age division.  Her aspiration to join the said challenge started when she yearns to lose 40 pounds of baby weight.  Kim suggested that she see a trainer.  After the first day of seeing a trainer, Marissa came home with the news that she would be participating in the said challenge in 2007 where she had seven months to prepare.  With real estate as her day job, Marissa did her training during her free time.  Her trainer also suggested that she get certification since she has had a lot of experience and training in athletics.

Garage Days
Sharing what Marissa had learned, she started reaching out to her cousins and friends as she trained them with whatever she can see in the garage.  One classic example of making do with what she had was training by pushing the car.  As she continued to coach and encourage these women, she began browsing on Craigslist and bought used equipment from the said site.

The passion to help others is what drove Marissa to pursue the business.  As she watched herself overflow with energy while enjoying what she eats, she noticed the spark contrast in her friends who were lacking in energy and, to stay “fit”, are not eating at all.  Marissa feels for these women.  She knew that these unhealthy ways can be overcome by healthy diet and exercise.  For those who consult with her, Marissa is straightforward about the challenge to unlearn old habits and learn new ones.  With this approach, Marissa gives these women an idea about what to expect in her training programs.

Birth of the Fitness Centers
As Kim continues to see people coming in their garage because Marissa’s clienteles continue to expand, Kim finally decided it was time to transfer to a facility.  He included a turf area on the said facility that gave birth to Trinity Sports.  At first, Kim and Marissa conducted boot camps where they get to work together by dividing the group in two.  Each of them will facilitate one group, and then switch groups.  At the end of the camp, Kim and Marissa have created workouts together and the couple have fun bonding this way.

Trinity Sports Performance and Garage Mama Fitness may share the same venue, but they offer totally different programs that cater to the wide variety of needs of men, women, and children.  Trinity Sports is owned by Kim where he offers sports training and “man camp”.  The latter is more than just looking good, but getting stronger and having a great time.  Kim also mentors children and focuses on both skill enhancement and character building.  He offers training and conditioning in different sports such as soccer, baseball, football, volleyball, and lacrosse. There is an on-going class called Speed, Mobility, and Speed Training that helps children do better in their sport.  Kim also equips the children about life and not just for college scholarships.

Aside from being a certified trainer who provides personal and small group training, Marissa also shares her own healthful recipes as she offers cooking classes and nutritional coaching.  She encourages people how to live healthy through fitness training and by eating and preparing well balanced meals.  She also conducts summer classes for girls aged 12 to 16 and power camps, the latter being one of the fruitful West Orange events today, which made the business famous for providing amazing results.

For those who are interested to look better and feel younger, you can personally inquire and look around the facility of Trinity Sports Performance featuring Garage Mama Fitness at 1232 Winter Garden Vineland Road #116, Winter Garden, FL 34787, with phone number (407) 347-7977.  If you want to know the other services that these centers offer, you may visit their respective websites at www.trinitysportsperformance.net and www.gmamafitness.com.
